

I may seem a long time since May until September before writing this review, but I have contacted the company on numerous occasions asking for an explanation and to date 'nothing' Non existant customer service. The Taxi was from a completely different company and I have to say that as a women travelling alone I found this worrying. 20 mins later I rang back, it's still on it's way!! Looking out for a Shuttle bus I was shocked to be called to a Taxi and was told it was to take me to the airport. so I rang the emergency telephone number and was told the transport was on it's way. I had to get a taxi to take me there and then sat waiting for over an hour for the Shuttle bus which didn't appear. So what choice did I have but to go with the changed pick up point. I rang them immediately, but no reply, so sent an e mail explaining that I couldn't walk that distance - no reply to that either - even on the day of departure both the Hotel Manager and myself tried to call the stated number without success. When he dropped my off he told me that the return pick up would be from a Hotel just around the corner from where I was staying, which was fine by me, despite having a lung problem and Asthma I could manage that! However, two days before my return to UK a fax confirmation of pick up details was received by the Manager of the accomodation where I was staying, stating that the pick up point had changed and was now a considerable walk away.

The arrival pick up at Malaga was fine and the driver very polite. I was travelling alone and booked a shuttle bus as I had done on previous occassions. I have used Resorthoppa several times prior to my May 2014 holiday to Costa del Sol and have recommended them to friends.

I feel the need to write this review but after waiting since May for a reply from Resorthoppa even after several e mails and telephone calls but feel I had to share my experience. Non existant Customer Service - avoid this Company I think I would be reluctant to use this company in future unless I knew the property I was going to ! I had also booked a transfer for my daughters who travelled separately to us it wasn't a shuttle just the normal coach transfer and they were also dropped at the bottom of the hill at 2am and told to walk 100 metres up the hill (in the dark no lighting) they ended up walking into the grounds of a private property ! Whilst I understand large buses can't always excess everywhere I do think you should be made aware of this on booking so you can change to a taxi transfer. Was told this is where I must meet the bus as they didn't go to our hotel and if we wanted door to door service we should have booked a taxi transfer! I advised we were dropped at the hotel on arrival, the lady advised that is where we would be collected from and she promptly put the phone down on me! My hotel owner tried several times to call her back each time the phone was put down ! With help we made our way to the meeting point and waited and waited the bus eventually arrived but it had been to the hotel to collect us ! Resort hoppa obviously had my email address and telephone number but made no attempt to contact me following my call to them. I advised this was going to be difficult as it was actually nearer 300 metres down a steep hill with no footpaths and heavy luggage. Was told the bus wouldn't pick us up at the hotel so to make our way 100 metres to a collection point. I downloaded the app it's easy to use! Was told to meet at a point almost 300 metres away from our hotel ! So I did as the app said if I had any problems and rang the number for customer services. I booked a speedy shuttle service (4 drop offs maximum) we were the 6 th drop off not too bad I guess! The return trip however wasn't so good. Apart from this I would say it was a good value for money experience and that I will probably use the service again but feel they are a little "rough around the edges" and it won't take much to make the a good service as opposed to average! On our last evening an email was sent to our hotel confirming our pick up time and collection point which turned out to be approx 400m from the hotel and did take a bit of looking for. 15 minutes later we found the hotel and checked in exhausted after carrying our luggage up and down the the streets and alleys near the hotel. Once we had checked in we were told the number bus stop to report to but not given any idea where it was, certainly not underground! After wandering around aimlessly for twenty minutes we eventually found our stop where the mini bus was waiting, luckily our flight had arrived early! The driver dropped us off near our hotel at approx 2am and just pointed to an alley way and said "it's down there". Clear instructions as to the desk location in the airport.
